A little bit about us.
Reef & Barrel is the work of brothers Bob and Chris Fahey, who have transformed the space from the former Edgar's Pub after taking over in 2009. The Monmouth County brothers, former restaurateurs in New York City, also own 3 other Shore destinations, all uniquely catered to their respective towns.
Bob, of Brielle and Chris, of Sea Girt grew up in New Jersey — their family had a house in Avon — and while they spent time working in Manhattan, returning to the Shore was always part of the plan.

The Fahey Restaurant Group has worked closely with various charities to raise money and provide meals for those in need, including the Fulfill Food Bank of Monmouth & Ocean County, Make A Wish NJ Foundation, Coastal Habitat for Humanity, Big Brother, Big Sisters of New Jersey, Joan Dancy & PALS, the Alzheimer's Association, and numerous other local organizations.
We are proud of our partnerships and are grateful to be able to give back to the community — all while having fun and continuing to create great experiences across all of our locations.
